If you're on the hunt for an authentic Italian dining experience in Florence, look no further than I Templari. Nestled in the heart of the city at Via del Ponte alle Mosse, 132/B, this charming restaurant offers a delightful escape into the flavors and traditions of Italy.

Step inside, and you’ll be enveloped in a uniquely themed ambiance inspired by the medieval knights of the Templar order. The decor is elegantly executed, creating a cozy atmosphere that is both distinctive and welcoming—a wonderful setting for families or a romantic dinner. You'll find ornate details that transport you back in time without detracting from the contemporary dining experience.

The real star here, however, is undeniably the food. Diners rave about the menu, which boasts freshly made pasta that is cooked to perfection. Customer Cherrie Li described their pasta as having "a good balance of sauce and pasta," which clings beautifully to each bite. Whether you're savoring a creamy carbonara or a hearty meat dish, the flavors are evocative and comforting. And let’s not forget the focaccia; guests are often welcomed with warm, fluffy slices that are lightly salted and crispy—just the right start to your meal.

Speaking of experiences, many visitors like Julie Chiang have enjoyed exceptional service, noting that the staff, led by the exuberantly friendly George, go above and beyond to make diners feel special. Offering complimentary tastings and personalized recommendations, they ensure your meal is perfectly tailored to your tastes—and accommodate dietary requirements with grace and positivity.

Moreover, the warmth of the staff extends beyond just hospitality; Elizabeth Siradze passionately noted the kindness and welcoming nature of the owners and their team, making you feel like a cherished guest rather than just another customer. With generous serving sizes, you'll leave feeling both satisfied and eager to return.

After indulging in delectable dishes, many customers appreciate the thoughtful touches such as complimentary spirits. Annabel Sullivan recalled feeling pampered with a complimentary limoncello, a refreshing way to conclude a memorable meal. This attention to detail does not go unnoticed and certainly adds to the restaurant's charm.

Whether you're dining with family, friends, or for a special occasion, I Templari promises not just a meal, but an unforgettable experience that captures the spirit of Italian hospitality. If you’re in Florence, this local gem is an absolute must-visit!

Beautiful food and excellent service by George(he's always smiling and full of energy!!!!)! Very accommodating with my dietary requirements. We returned for a 2nd time in the same week, and food was still good and even got offered a free tasting of wine! Made our stay in Florence so memorable!

My husband found this place while walking around. Great spot! Food was amazing and the atmosphere was even better. Service was over the top with complimentary spirits at the end of our meal! Decor was elegant Templar themed… hence the name. Very clean bathrooms and enough tables for large groups. Definitely recommend!!!

Place is so cute. Didn't care about the medieval decor, didn't take away from the restaurant but could still be cute if you had kids, tho there was no kids there when we went. Food was great, wine was great, and servers were so nice they even gave us complimentary limoncello after our meal. Serving sizes were also quite large. Overall loved!

I Templari was one of the best local places I’ve tried in Florence. The food was amazing, so fresh and fair pricing, but most of all, the owner and staff were so kind and welcoming. They offered many recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed.

As we sat down, we were greeted by very friendly and nice staffs, and we were offered some focaccia (slightly salted pizza dough). They’re light and crispy, pretty good. Food came in short time (around 10 minutes tor pasta, and 20 minutes for meat). Pasta here is very delicious, with a good balance of pasta sauce and pasta. The pasta is slightly undercooked and chewy, and sauce clings nicely onto the pasta. The portions for the pasta are also very generous. The price is also reasonable (€10-16) The T bone is pretty expensive (€55/kg, which ours costed €99). The texture is extremely tender, feels like butter. It’s also cool the staff plated it infront of us after cooking. Presentation wise, it’s very nice looking. However I would say it does not got much of a taste to it. I probably would not order again. The sea bass is all right, but too expensive (€26) for the portion and quality. They have deboned the sea bass for us, so the skin and bones are gone (I personally prefer a crispy skinned sea bass served as a whole). The sea bass is smooth, but not much taste to it. A bit disappointing. They also mentioned it will be served with a salad, which the sea bass came with a few slices of potato and tomato. All in all the sea bass is pretty tasteless. For dessert, we’ve had the tiramisu and ice cream. They’re all right. So far this is a pretty good restaurant in terms of pasta. However for the protein wise, it’s not the best.

The atmosphere was amazing, they have really cool medieval masks on the walls. The food was also very delicious and the portion sizes were very nice. The people were so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Amazing food! Cannot compliment it enough!! We’ve had for starters the caprese salad and the beef tartare and for mains the beef tagliata and the scottona filetto with truffles. MUST TRY the beef tartare and the truffle filetto! Service was great also and the atmosphere is cozy…

A Perfect Italian Evening! What a fantastic find! From the warm welcome to the last bite, everything was exceptional. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the service made us feel like family. A special shout-out to our server, Omar, for his fantastic and attentive service, he even noticed my husband is left handed and set utensils on the left side after the first dish! To top it all off, the owner Salvatore generously treated us to different kinds of dessert wine shots, which was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. We can't wait to come back! Highly recommend.
